I’m Shannon. I believe people matter.
And I believe good HR should make work clearer, fairer, and more human—not leave everyone reaching for a dictionary.
More than 20 years, and still curious.
I’m the founder of HR Building Blocks, LLC and an SPHR certified HR professional. My work has taken me through employee relations, leadership development, recruiting, performance management, compliance, and training.
What keeps me interested is helping people understand themselves and one another. I love turning a complicated topic into a conversation that makes a leader say, “Okay, I can do that.”
I also serve as Wyoming SHRM Membership Director and care deeply about strengthening the HR profession and the communities around me.
Outside the meeting room
You’ll find me writing, listening to stories, collecting action figures, building LEGO sets, or getting outside in Southwest Wyoming. There may also be a pet supervising. Their performance reviews are mixed.
Whether I’m facilitating a workshop or helping with a hard people decision, I bring the same mix of clarity, empathy, accountability, and humor.
